Weekend Recap

Hope everyone had a great weekend.
This weekend went by way too fast for me.

We went out of town for a wedding this past weekend for Jarred's coworker with Jarred's brother and his brother's girlfriend. We had a fantastic time and the wedding was adorable.  I will probably steal all of the bride's ideas one day!

The venue was beautiful, if only it wasn't so far I would have my own wedding there!

Have a great week!

Oh Monday

It's Monday Evening! You know what that means!? 4 more days left until Friday. haha
Still adjusting to being back at work and let me tell you I love my job.  I consider myself amazingly lucky.  But boy am I still on summer mode over here.

I'm sure I'll adjust, hopefully it'll be before June but time will tell.

Anyways, I feel like all I did was spend the entire weekend stuffing my face.

Friday night we had double date night which was great! You can never go wrong with From the Boot. It's this adorable BYOB near me and it's tiny.  So needless to say a wait is expected.  However, they will open your bottles for you while you wait so we pretty much tailgated in the parking lot waiting for dinner. It was a great time! I can't wait until next month's dinner for Debbie's birthday.
  No photos. :(

Saturday I went dress hunting as I am in desperate need of a dress for THIS weekend for a wedding.  And of course I had no luck so I needed to cheer myself up with some Shake Shack.  Yum.

Saturday night, we headed to Jarred's Grandma's house for his cousin's b-day (if you're reading this Happy Birthday Jaimie!)

Sunday, we went to Clover Market which was adorable.  It's a street vendor thing.  And the sellers are fantastic.  It was a mix of art/jewelry/vintage items, etc.

There is also a Food Truck Alley- there were about 8 trucks total.
(this photo is the worst, sorry)

And I stalked this beforehand so I knew there was going to be a crepe truck so I hunted it down as soon as I got there since I am obsessed.  Bonjour Creperie, you did not disappoint.  A little too much nutella and not enough fruit but still one of the better crepes I've had.

How do you stop yourself from trying ever food truck you see?
It's too hard.  So after crepes we spent a few hours shopping then ended the trip with a stop at the Taco Mondo Truck.

I had the chorizo tacos.  I might have dreams about them until I can have them again. So good!

(ground chorizo, lettuce, salsa verde, goat cheese, and chipotle mayo I believe)

Came home with this gem (similar, here).  I am obsessed I almost bought her whole table and am currently stalking her etsy account, click HERE to visit her page.

And I'll leave you with this lovely photo I crashed with my friend Jen and her boyfriend Matt. :)

Have a great week!

Friday Favs

I know, I know I am a terrible blogger.  Thank you to my family and friends who enjoy pointing that out for me. J

Things have just been crazy trying to get back into the swing of school.  I am having a difficult time trying to balance my time and get everything done these days. Hence the lack of blogging.

But let's do some celebrating! It's Friday!!! My second week of school is over.  Nine days down too many to go.

As much as I wasn't ready to get back to work I am thrilled that Fall is coming.  Bring on the leggings, boots, over sized sweaters, and pumpkin everything.

This Friday Favorite is going to be dedicated to my new fall favorites (clothes that is).  Most of this I just purchased and am in love with.  Some of these are in my cart waiting on pay day. :)
1. Paige Denim Jeans, adorable, expensive but seriously adorable. 2. This tunic sweater, had to scoop this up before it was sold out. 3. These freaking boots, the site that is selling them is a daily deal site so they sell out quick and there is only so long to buy them.  I had these boots in my cart the other day in taupe of course I spent too much time thinking about my size and they sold out. Hopefully they will be back soon! 4. Leggings, I just pruchased these and cannot get enough of them. Worth the $$$, invest in them.  5. Peep toe booties! I imagine them with my paige denim jeans. Swoon. (Is that a real word?? I'll use it anyway.)

This weekend is double date weekend with my sissy and brother in law.  We try to get together once a month and go to dinner.  This month was Jarred's restaurant pick and he chose his favorite Italian place, From the Boot.  I cannot wait we always have a great time!

Then Sunday we're heading to Clover Market in Chestnut Hill to do some major spending and food truck eating.

Have a fantastic weekend all! Hopefully I'll be a better blogger these days.  I love me some fall DIY's.
